Warm up Fall!

Is your hair style getting you down?  Using the right heating tools and using them correctly can make the difference between hair that dazzles and hair that disappoints.  Even with proper hair care, locks might lack pizzazz without a boost of body and bounce.  So time to bring on the heat!

It’s important to remember to select a heating tool that will minimize damage while also imparting body or sleekness,  movement and shine.  Make sure your heating tools don’t leave you scorched!  Opt for high-quality heating tools that do their magic with tress-protecting qualities or features such as ceramic heating surfaces, tourmaline, or ions.

When picking straighteners and curling irons, choose ones with controllable temperatures that precisely target the best heat for your hair type.  Pick wider straighteners for thick, curly hair and narrower ones if you would like the option of adding movement with a hint of curl.  And FYI, if you desire wavy perfection, try the TIGI Bed head Curlipops styling iron.  It combines tourmaline, an hourglass shape, and a special glove for a totally modern take on tousled sexiness.

Who needs a hair dryer that fizzles!  Try the Drybar Buttercup blow dryer for nanoionic-infused voluminous glory, or the Sedu Pro Tourmaline Ionic 4000i for taming your curly mane.  On a budget?  Remington T-Studio Silk Ceramic Dryer infuses strands with silk while being gentle on the wallet.  Or try out our current fav for soft, luxurious locks, the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i.  Although a splurge, it dries hair with lightening speed and is touted as better for your hair than air drying. And speaking of air drying, we just read a study that says that air drying can lead to deeper damage within the hair shaft, so feel free to gently dry those strands!

Whatever your hairstyling needs, using innovative products that target specific hair types helps create your best look yet.
